A Self Portrait
Self Poetry
.
At midnight I fly with the owls
At dawn I run with the deer
At noon I dance with the snake
At sunset I howl with the wolves
I am a wild child of the woods
Running and dancing freely
But I maneuver just as well through a busy city street
Absorbing the vibrations of my environment
My cells dance in tune with the song of the earth
All these things I will teach to you
But first you must ask the question
And you shall teach me in return
For we are all teacher and student
Dancing together on this singing planet
