Welcome to Luna Esque's mini course on Dragon Magick. I hope with these four lessons that you gain a correct perspective on Dragon Magick and let it enhance your life as it surely has enhanced mine. Most Dragons are found to be innovative, gifted, energetic, self-assured, flamboyant, opinionated, magnanimous, irrepressible, charismatic, fearless, brave, enterprising, a touch conceited, principled, passionate, colourful, ruthless, bombastic, and at times quick-tempered. Dragons are often referred to as free spirits, as they usually choose uninhibited lifestyles. So open your minds and take a flight with Dragon Magick. Here there be Dragons, love, protection, and Magick.
Dragon Magick is the relationship between a person's spirituality and Dragons. It is said that Dragons don't always talk to people but they can be called. Dragons are not dominators, but wise and powerful beings that can aid someone on their journey in life. I didn't know I had a Dragon friend and guardian until I dreamed of it one night. Then I started communication telepathically with this Dragon and we regularly talk about life's issues and I always get the best advice. Dragons may have existed in the physical at one time but now reside in the Astral Plane. There are various stories as to the demise of Dragons, so I won't speculate on where they all went. Small flying dragons still live in the rainforest of Indonesia and there is a small blue sea slug called Glaucus Atlanticus that I refer to as a Water Dragon.
Dragons are not only Astral Beings, but are Elemental Beings and can manifest those elements in someone's life. The practice of Dragon Magick is very much like witchcraft with it's own tools, calling of the quarters, and rituals. Divination by Dragon is the best for Diviners. Dragons are still celebrated mostly in Asia and is their Totem Animal. Dragon Magick can also be found in the British Isles and Ireland on old Pictish stones. There is also Dragon Magick in Lebanon; yes, the Lebanon in the Middle East. I hope someday to be exposed to that but have not found that practice yet.
Dragons are not servants or slaves, but guides and guardians for humans. In some legends it is written that they brought humans to Earth from Sirius before a big disaster happened there that would have killed us all. So be respectful because they are here to love us and help us.
